Course details

This programme provides individuals of all levels with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to spot the signs, understand and offer support when encountering colleagues and customers with mental health issues.

Course Content:

The course is split into two units.

  • Mental Health Awareness is delivered via an eLearning module, with the support of a study book, and provides learners with an understanding and awareness of common mental health disorders and issues. This includes the impact of COVID-19.

Mental Health First Aid Qualification
We were very proud to be the first Operator to receive the Active IQ Level 2 Mental Health Awareness qualfication delivered by our training partner Ad-Lib Training. The training provided our Health professionals, Sports and Community Development team and Front of House staff with the necessary skills and confidence to be able to deliver their roles effectively. The staff found the course extremely valuable especially in helping to recognise signs and symptoms of mental ill health and negative mental wellbeing, and make appropriate responses that can be used to support someone with mental ill health.
— Chris Jones Group Sports and Community Development Manager, Fusion
I thoroughly enjoyed the mental health awareness and first aid course, thanks to your excellent teaching and the knowledge that the course provided.
