Autumn is a time of change. The days are shorter, the leaves will give us a wonderful display of colour and eventually fall. The temperatures will start to go down and the jumpers come out.

It is a time of year that many really enjoy and embrace the change whilst others will start to feel anxious about winter coming.

Interestingly some people see Autumn as the end of the summer and something to mourn, whilst others see it as the start of something new and exciting.

The schools will be back in the next couple of weeks. Students will be starting a new year of learning. This is a great time for adults to also embrace learning opportunities. It could be a hobby or an exercise programme. Perhaps sign up for a challenge or try for a career change. The choices are limitless if you sit down and do some research.

The resources for learning have never been more accessible. There are face to face attendance programmes as well as books, online courses, and podcasts. Every day, each of us is offered the opportunity to pursue intellectual development in ways that are tailored to our learning style. There is plenty of evidence highlighting the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and training our brain.

As an organisation Ad-Lib Training, along with many other businesses have had to go through big changes in the last two years. Pre Covid all our courses were face to face. We have only been delivering online courses for the past two years and now we are entering a new season where our offering will be made up of both. It will be a new challenge, but I am happy we are embracing it and moving forward with positivity.

We have developed two new qualifications with Active IQ; Level 1 health Influencers and Level 2 Community Activator. Both programmes relate to the big changes our communities are going through in relation to health and the importance of activity.

We are interested in how you as an individual or an organisation are embracing this time of change and if there are opportunities where we can share our expertise and come together.
